2009 Halloween Trick or Treating

Halloween afternoon we all went to Aiden's soccer game. The weather was beautiful. The air was crisp and it was great to be outside. It was fun to have extra family to help cheer the team on.


















Afterwards we took Gram and Papa to Babe's to eat. I don't think Papa will want to go anywhere else when they come in town. Then we went to a little pumpkin patch to get a pumpkin or two. Everything was too picked over so we ditched the pumpkin patch to take a hay ride around the parking lot. Weeee! not so much.


















Later that evening the Baker's came over to trick-0r-treat around the neighborhood with us. The kids got so much candy it was crazy. It was Logan's first time to trick-or-treat. Zach did a great job helping the kids from door to door.

We did the loop around the neighborhood and then went back to our house for a little BBQ. The next day I told Aiden to pick out his favorite 15 candies and then Dad was going to take the rest of the candy and give it to the kids that were less fortunate and not able to get any candy. Once Aiden was on board with this idea he felt that it would be better if he went and handed out the candy to the "other kids" himself.
