Bounce Dryer Bar - works for up to two to four months just stick it in the dryer and forget about it. It even tells you when it needs to be replaced. Sounds great right.
These were on sale this week so I picked one up to try. I peeled the backing off and stuck it to the inside of my dryer just as the instructions said. Turned the dryer on and walked away. I came back into the house from the back yard and could hear a clunking noise coming from the laundry room.
I opened up the dryer to find the dryer bar had come unstuck, the holder stuck to a sock and the bar lying in the clothes. It looked like someone had taken a deodorant bar and smeared it all over the inside of my shiny dryer.
I unloaded the clothes and began 15 minutes of wiping off the dryer bar smears. I could not get the sticky marks off where the bar had been stuck. Can I use goo gone in the dryer?
I will need to rewash the load of clothes as it looks like they have deodorant marks all over as well.
Other than my dryer smelling wonderful, this item was a bust for me. I think a letter to the maker is in order.
