it's been about 2 and a half years. it was time to get ava her first hair cut (not counting the trim her brother gave her a few weeks back). her hair was down past the middle of her back when it was wet and the ends were getting a bit dry. she has these beautiful springy curls that shorten up her hair when it's dry. most days she gets her bath at night so those curls turn into the diana ross afro through the night. i love her look when she wakes up.
she had a great time and was so excited about the sucker. that's also her brother's favorite part.
that incentive kept her still for the most part, no nicked ears.

She is so cute! It's hard having their hair cut the first time. You kind of miss it- at least I did! But she is cuter than ever!
